April 9th – 3:35PM EST - We received an e-mail from our CDN provider stating that they are investigating a possible issue with the storage device that our account is assigned to.  To avoid any issues we’ve temporarily disabled uploads.  We will update this post as we get new information and will re-enable uploads as soon as we can.

UPDATE – 4:10 PM EST – It appears that our storage on the CDN has come back up.  We will confirm that the issue is resolved and then will re-enable uploads.

UPDATE – 4:25 PM EST – We are still waiting for confirmation from our CDN provider that the issue is fixed but we have put through several test uploads and they have all worked correctly so we have turned uploads back on.

We’ll be making some changes to our stats system this weekend, you can find more information behind the reasons for the changes here:  http://imake.libsyn.com/libsyn-stats-are-changing-for-the-better.  This maintenance window will last approximately 12 hours on Saturday March, 31st from 12PM – 12AM on Sunday April, 1st.  Beginning at 12PM on Saturday stats processing will be stopped.  You’ll still have access to your existing stats but no new data will be processed until the maintenance window is completed.  During this 12 hour window will be converting the existing data into the new format and structures needed by the new stats processing system.

Once the maintenance has been completed we will turn processing back on and will be keeping a close eye on it to make sure it’s running smoothly.  The new system does process the raw data quite a bit faster than the old one so we expect the stats to get caught up much quicker than they have in the past.

We’ll update this post on Saturday once the maintenance begins and will keep updating it throughout the day until the work is completed.

UPDATE:  March 31st 12PM EST – We’ve started doing the stats maintenance so at this time stats processing is paused and will be paused until this maintenance is completed.

UPDATE:  March 31st 6:30PM EST - The stats maintenance is progressing well, we’re actually about an hour or two ahead of schedule.

UPDATE:  March 31st 8:30PM EST - The stats maintenance has been completed.  We’ve been running on the new stats back-end for roughly 30 minutes now and we’ve yet to see any issues.  The stats processing is already caught up and you should notice greatly improved speeds when using the Statistics module in the Libsyn Dashboard.

March 20, 2012 – 9:45AM EST -You may have noticed that your stats haven’t updated since the 19th and you may notice that the “last updated” time stamp on the stats keeps changing and going backwards. Last week we became aware of a possible situation where we were missing logs from our CDN providers UK location. We began working with them and they were able to retrieve this missing data from their systems. Yesterday afternoon they gave us the missing data and we began processing it. We ran into a few issues processing the data and that set the processing back by quite a few hours. The missing data covers the following dates: March 8th – 15th. You can expect to see your numbers across those dates increase depending on how many of your downloads comes from the UK.

UPDATE – 10:00AM EST – At this point the backlog of the missing data is finished processing and we are now working through the remaining logs from the 19th and starting on the logs from today the 20th.

March 14th, 2012 – 11AM EST: We’re currently experiencing a delay in getting log files from our CDN, this has caused our stats processing to be approximately 5 hours behind. We’ll update this post was get more information.

UPDATE – 1PM EST: Stats processing has started again and should catch up within the next several hours.

March 11, 2012 – 6:05PM EST: We’re currently experiencing issues delivering media files – we’ve verified it’s an issue with our CDN provider and have notified them of the issue. We’ll update this post when the issue is resolved.

6:20PM EST: This problem has now been resolved please contact support if you are still unable to download any files.

Our CDN provider has informed us that they were unable to complete their maintenance on our storage device during their maintenance window last week. We expect a much shorter window this time beginning at 1AM on the 29th and ending at approx 2AM. During this 1 hour window we will have uploads disabled both via the interface and FTP.

UPDATE Feb. 29th 1:30AM EST – The maintenance window has begun, we have disabled uploads. We’ll update this post when the maintenance is complete and we’ve turned uploads back on.

UPDATE Feb. 29th 2:30AM EST – The maintenance has been completed and uploads have been turned back on.

We’ll be doing some maintenance on our systems between 2AM – 6AM EST on February 22nd. During this window we will be disabling uploads as our CDN provider will also be doing an upgrade to the storage device that has caused all the upload issues in recent weeks. These upgrades should fix the issues with the storage device once and for all.

We’re getting reports of some possible download issues, we are currently investigating the issue and will update this post when we know more.

UPDATE 11:35AM EST – We can confirm download issues so far with users being directed to the New York and Seattle locations. It is very possible other locations are affected, we’ve opened up a ticket with our CDN provider. We will continue to update this post.

UPDATE 2:45PM EST – Our CDN has pulled the NYC node out of the loop and this has fixed the issues for us. If you are still experiencing issues downloading please contact us: support@libsynsupport.com and provide a link to the file you are trying to access.

At 10:30am EST we will be performing brief maintenance on our publishing platform.  During this time you will not be able to upload new episodes.  We do not anticipate the maintenance taking longer then 15 minutes and will post an update here once it is complete.

Updated 10:55am: All maintenance has been complete and all systems should be running correctly at this time.

Hello, we appear to suffering upload issues again. Seems to be caused by the same storage device at our CDN having issues again. We’re working with them to fix the issue and are starting to look at alternative solutions so we can avoid the issue in the future.

UPDATE – 10:50 PM EST – Our CDN provider is having an issue with one of the storage devices in the storage pool that we upload our content to. They are working on fixing the issue, we will update this post when we know more.

UPDATE – 11:45 PM EST – The CDN storage is now back up and we are able to successfully upload to it. If you tried uploading during this issue please try re-uploading your file now.
