Easily syndicate your posts out to WordPress the same way you do your feed, Facebook, Twitter, and other destinations. To start, log into your Libsyn Dashboard and click on Destinations , then Social Destinations -
Next, click on New WordPress Blog -
A new page will open similar to the below. We will start with the Instructions inside WordPress.
Log into your WordPress Administration Page, then go to Settings –> Writing. You must be logged in as an administrator. Note – Some of these steps may not exist or may be different depending on your software version, installation method, and web host. If you have any questions, please contact your site administrator or our support team at support@libsynsupport.com.
On this page, check off the box to enable XML-RPC -
Save your changes. Now go to Plugins –> Add New -
In the search bar that appears, type in the word iframe, then hit Search Plugins -
A page with search results will appear. One of the options should be [iframe]. Hit Install Now .
Approve the plugin installation -
WordPress will ask for your server name, FTP username, and FTP password. If you do not know this information please contact your web host. Note: Not all servers allow for FTP from a web program (meaning PHP is not compiled with FTP enabled). If this happens, please contact your web host or the WordPress forums for additional information on other plugin installation methods.
Once you have entered your information, hit Proceed.
WordPress will confirm your plugin has been installed. Hit Activate Plugin.
WordPress will confirm that your plugin has been activated -
Lets shift back to Libsyn. Enter your WordPress username, password, and blog URL …
Then hit test connection .
Moving down the page, you will see the player options. This plugin will automatically embed a video or audio player into your posts. You can change the player sizes, and preview the player on this screen to make sure you are happy with your choices.

Lastly is the other options section where you can choose to enable or disable comments and trackbacks for the posts on WordPress. You can also choose to allow the link used in the post to link out to the Libsyn Podcast Directory.
Once you have made your selections, hit Save WordPress OnPublish Settings -
That’s it, you’re all set! You can create posts using the Basic or Advanced publishing system as normal, and even schedule out releases. Your posts will automatically appear on your WordPress blog.
Important Note: OnPublish for WordPress currently only supports Self Hosted WordPress installations, it will not support WordPress.com hosted blogs.
Another Important Note: OnPublish for WordPress will not work if you are utilizing our feed sync feature.
