Low stats numbers

Update from the stats investigation department: We have discovered a bug in the file filter which strains out extraneous files from the counters and it was causing valid hits to get skipped. We are rolling back a few days worth of data and rerunning right now. Expect it to recover pretty quickly and accurate numbers to follow.

The rollback is complete.  Thanks to everyone who sent in detailed reports of inconsistencies they were seeing.  That kind of information was VERY helpful in getting to the bottom of the problem.
