01. Manage Your Account
Your user account settings allow you to modify your account wide (not show wide) settings. These settings will affect your login information, your e-mail preferences, and time zone information across all of your shows.
To access your user settings, click on the drop down arrow next to your display name in the upper right hand corner of your screen, then hit My Account:
Your account settings will open. From here, you can provide the first and last name of the account holder, change your display name, and so on. The e-mail address on this page is the e-mail address used to log into the Dashboard. If this is changed, it changes the login to the account. This does not affect billing, as billing is per show and not per account.
A side note about the display name, this simply allows you to customize the name that appears in the upper right hand corner of the Dashboard. This can be handy if the account is owned by an organization, for example.
The time zone affects everything in the Dashboard except your statistics. For example, your time zone will affect the release dates of your episodes, and setting a release or expiration date on an episode will all occur based on your time zone. Statistics will always be delivered in UTC regardless of your time zone setting.
You can also change your e-mail subscriptions, such as if you want e-mail notifications when a listener comments on your Libsyn hosted blog page.
Lastly, you can change your account password on this page. Clicking on Change Password will open a drop down box:
Any changes that get made on this page require the changes to be saved by hitting the button.

You already have a Libsyn account with an awesome show. Now you want another show, but don’t want another login.
You can do that.
Libsyn sets you up with one login, and you can add as many shows to that login account as you would like. The subscription and billing details you setup is per show, so you will setup a payment subscription for each show you create on your account.
To add a new show to your Libsyn account, and click on the drop down arrow next to your name in the upper right hand corner, then click on Register New Show:
This will open the show registration form where you will enter the basic show details, setup the subscription level and enter your payment information.
The show slug is what will generate the URLs to your media files, your RSS feed, and your web page. The slug should be one word, start with a letter, and should not contain any symbols.
Note: While the show slug can be changed manually by our support staff, pick your slug carefully as changing it later can have negative repercussions to your show down the line.
Enter your credit card details, note even if you have other shows with Libsyn each show has it’s own payment details. You can use the same card, or a different card than you have used in the passed.
Pick your subscription plan. If you aren’t sure what plan is right for you, click on Compare Plans for more details. You can always upgrade or downgrade later.
Lastly, read over the terms of service…
Make sure to check off the box that you have read and understood the TOS. With the application filled out, hit the . Your show will be created and you will be able to switch between all your shows using your show selector.
