Why would you want to use Feedburner if Libsyn already generates a feed for you? The answer is you don’t have to. However; many of our customers do.
The biggest reason to use Feedburner for your RSS Feed is if you anticipate changing hosts. With Feedburner, you can submit your Feed from Feedburner to podcast directories (such as iTunes) and if you ever change hosts (and therefore change feed URL’s), you change the URL in Feedburner and Feedburner handles the rest, your subscribers will never miss a beat.
To get started, go to Feedburner. Feedburner uses the same login as Google.
In “Burn a feed”, enter your Libsyn feed URL and check off “I am a podcaster”-
The system will say Welcome, then ask for your feed title and what you want your Feedburner URL to be-
Hit next, and you will receive confirmation that your feed has been “burned”-
Now that it is setup, you can click on your feed from the main page of your account to edit the details by clicking on Edit Feed Details-
